One improvement

The task is that we can only change one thing to our movie and we have chosen to sync a heartbeat to the flashing images, and then we are going to sync the voice over to the video. Fingers cross ! :P

3rd March 2010 - filmng flashbacks

Ruhul had an idea to make an extra bit for his edit, I filmed it and worked over the week to add it to our piece. I also added some music using garage band and I Farhaana is also going through it to make sure it is perfect. We also recieved some comments from the rest of the class.

Strenghts and weaknesses.

A Long Awaited Update

so...
we've been filming alot lately, we've got all our footage, mustafa took the camera over the weekend and filmed a few shots of old streets and mysterious characters. this was useful to us as we were able to clarify characters that had significance to the scene. when we were filming in the office, i took a few pictures of the goings on, and also went around taking pictures of things that we thought related to the crime scene and the filming we got. last lesson, me and mustafa went on garage band and edited the voice over, we had recorded it many times and so was able to cut and paste different sections of different clips. this made it easier for us as we were able to create a voice over which sounded the way we wanted it to. this lesson tyronne is uploading some filming and also trying out some sounding techniques via garage band. mustafa is carrying on with the voice over, i'm blogging and ruhul is absent. after mustafa has finished with the voice over i will start to edit the video. this will be my input as i wasn't in the filming, also this will sharpen my understanding of using the use of the equipment. (i do know how to use the equipment)

Well Mustafa, Farhanna and Ruhul have go to take some random still pictures, of things like a gun, blood. So in the film while I actor talks we show flash back picture so it will be like his thinking back.

what a day!

Sooooo I was sitting in Performing Arts hard at work as You do in every lesson, and someone comes in and says is "Tyrone george there". Im worried wondering what they want me for, when I get outside they say "the police are here, to help you with your media project". So I run down the corridor, the very nice police officer says " yeh I got, a car out here for you to film if you want", I say "ok one second". Run down the corridor, go to the media class room, No Ms go upstairs to the english department ask if Ms or Sir is in they say "No", I say "ahhh man". I go back downstairs to tell them "I cant get hold of a camera, sorry" they say "thats fine any time".


So now it's 3.05 walkig around school doing nothing as I do, I see the school police officers there back! Run upstairs other Ms is in, get a camera and tripod, go outside to them, and they done the job, Got a three different shoots of the police with the blues and tues on. Thanks School Police Officers Your Great!

We got an Actor!

Today we got an Actor, We got Jef from The Brady Arts centre who is a professional Actor and is perfect for our Genre. Mustafa and farhaana made an ever better script than I originally made, so we are on the way to a start (finally). I (Tyrone) also filmed Ruhul for a practice run, this was good because we found out which angles would be good to use and which video FX will also be good (sharpen, letter box,fog, brightness and contrast, black and white and aged film).

O No!

Today we found out that we have two, yes that's two weeks to film are short video for our course work. So Me Tyrone and Mustafa decide to get into 5th gear and write a script, and complete production folder. Unfortunately we could not complete the shoot schedule as we do not know if Farhaansa and Ruhul will be able to make it or not. We wrote a script, just a draft so that we would have an idea of what the chracaters will maybe say.

>I can see a problem finding a suitable actor, also finding a suitable location to shoot the opening scene (Integration room, others wise we believe everything should run smoothly.
